Cuban revolution turns 50

On the occasion of the anniversary, they were held various events - lower profile than usual -, as ordinary Cubans continue to struggle daily through hard times brought on by a sputtering state-run economy and a decades-long trade and travel embargo by the United States. It is not clear how the new Obama administration will position regarding Cuba, but before a clear statement, a group of human rights supporter asked the lifting of the embargo.
