Words kill: Croatian journalists lives under threat. They are not alone

Words kill. Everywhere, from the very beginning of journalism. The last cases from Croatia - the killing of the owner and one executive of Nacional, the threats against another journalist covering, among others, controversial events from Croatia's recent history - are just an example, from a long list. The Preface of 2008 Reporters sans Frontieres Reports is summing up the whole landscape of the world media nowadays: Between impotence, cowardice and duplicity.
